What I love about this shawl pattern: Jessica’s patterns are very well written, which is always great to find. I was particularly pleased with her foresight to include stitch count breakdowns row-by-row, making it easy to check off which rows you’ve completed as well as helping keep you on track and ensure your lace rows align as they should!
What you’ll need for this shawl:

- Size 7 needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
- 3 locking stitch markers for cast on
- 2 regular stitch markers

Our shop sample was knit in Kingston Tweed and features a blend of wool, alpaca, and viscose for a soft and drapey finished product. Knit in this yarn, you’ll need 4 skeins in your chosen color, and the complete project (including the pattern) will run you just $44 before taxes!
Want something a bit more luxurious? Consider Elements DK! Made from a blend of Tencel Lyocell and Falkland Islands wool, it’s a yarn with not just softness but a shine like silk!
