Dates: Sunday, February 26th, March 12th, and March 26th – 12:30pm
Skill Level: Intermediate – Students need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, and be familiar with knitting in the round.
Are you in love with all the pretty sock yarns but not sure how to make socks out of them? This class is for you!
Broken up over three class sessions, we’ll work through the parts of a sock so you, too, can wear your own warm, woolen socks this next winter!
Week one will focus on the basic construction of a sock and the starting the cuff. Class two will begin the heel turn and gusset stitches. Class three will focus on decreasing our toe and learning to do the kitchener stitch to seam up our sock.
Materials required (not included in class fee):
- Size 1 or 2 double-pointed needles (5 needles total)
- 100g of sock-weight yarn
