Prerequisites: Students in this class need to be really comfortable with cast on, knit, purl, and bind-off and have worked in the round on circular needles before

These mitts are great for new knitters who haven’t worked a project entirely on double-pointed needles (DPNs) just yet. This skill builder class will teach you:

• Casting on with DPNs
• Knitting in the round with DPNs
• Increasing stitches to form the thumb gusset
• Cabling

Materials and notions required:

• Bulky weight yarn
• 1 set of size 8 double-pointed knitting needles
• Stitch marker
• Waste yarn or Purl Strings

We recommend using Creative Melange Chunky or Vintage Chunky for these mitts! Registered students can purchase needed class materials in-store at a 20% discount.
